I’m always saying to myself and my friends “You’ve got this and God’s got you”. When we pray we are in partnership with God, we are bringing Him into our situation, by simply acknowledging Him, we give Him space to direct our path.
It’s so important to pray for you. So are so busy praying for everyone else but who knows your situation better than you. A lie whispers “God knows everything anyway so why do I need to state the obvious to Him” but there is a power in telling God about it. He is able to provide answers and solutions you didn’t know you needed.
I have a friend who felt selfish praying for herself when other’s needed it more but her life and mindset transformed when she started to pray for herself too.
Prayer is a conversation with God. God would come and meet Adam in the cool part of the day, why, just to talk. When God couldn’t find Adam in Genesis 3:8 He just ask “where are you Adam?” How about that as a starting place in prayer. Imagine God asking “where are you Camelle?” “Where are you (insert your name here)?” Start by answering THAT question. Where am I? How am I? How am I feeling? What’s concerning me?
Question are very powerful. So as you Process in Prayer be sure to ASK God some specific questions too (ASK = Ask, Seek, Knock). Ask and record so you can come back and review. When you make a note of what you asked you can also note when you receive and I’m sure you will be blown away by the answers to prayers God provides. Just remember to go back and say thank you.
Let’s be consistent and practice this Powerful Daily Habit.
