Entrepreneur and Marketer

When I was about 7 years old I remember sitting on a bus with my Mum and an
immaculately dressed woman walked on wearing a stunning suit, shoes and an executive looking bag and I said to myself, “that’s what I want to be when I grow up!”

Something inside of me has always loved the idea of business. I’ve been studying
business for as long as I can remember and I’m still constantly studying business and
people.

From a young age I naturally understood marketing and targeting. I then began to
give marketing advice to small businesses and started my very first business, CCConsultancy. I remember helping a failing barber shop go from hardly any customers to having to hire more staff and bring in more chairs (that little business didn’t make me any money because I would always give my advice away for free).

Now I’m qualified through the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Some close family friends and I started a fashion label together called Image Divine. We worked on many collections and showcased at events like Dubai Fashion Week. In this company I was able to use the education received from my business course at
the London College of Fashion directly in the business. I cherish those days. I learnt and grew so much.

In 2008 my amazing father sadly passed away and it was a very reflective time in my life. He had actually given me my middle name ilona. I googled it and found out it was Hungarian for ‘Beauty’. Then one morning it came to me to start my own fashion label House of ilona (House of beauty), so I did.

I’ve always loved clothes, fashion and hair. I studied textiles in school, and then spent 6 weeks with a friend where I made a fully lined, fully interfaced suit. I learnt so much during that time and did lots of unpicking! I studied Fashion Business at the London College of Fashion and today I have my fashion label House of ilona www.houseofilona.com I created collections, worked with many bespoke clients around the world and today House of ilona is focused on my designer line of clergy dresses.
I love it!

Camelle ilona Daley is the CEO of House of ilona. A businesswoman, entrepreneur, speaker, author, business coach and Christian creative. More importantly, a wife and proud mother of two beautiful daughters. Lives in Milton Keynes, England where she started the business.

The book ‘Finding Divine Flow’ is (available on CamelleDaley.com from 7th November 2019) her first published work and the culmination of ten plus years in the Fashion Business.

Camelle is passionate about marketing, business, serving and helping others. Grateful, daily, that she gets to work in a place where Fashion meets Ministry. Camelle wants her life and journey to be an inspiration to other creatives ready to launch their dreams.

Clarity Empowerment Expansion

The first quarter of the year was about Definition for me. Definition of me, my purpose, journey and story so far. This is physically taking shape in my soon to be released book.

This second quarter has been about taking that definition and being international with it. This has led to Clarity.

New Day. New Week. New Month. New Quarter.

Happy 1st of the month

First day of a new quarter a new 90 days and new 12 week block. Mind blowing things can be achieved in 90 days / 12 weeks. I love treating 12 weeks as though they’re 12 months (check out the 12 Week Year book by Moran and Lennington).

This is the perfect day to refocus and reset your goals.
• What do you want to achieve in the next 90 days?
• What’s the most important goal?
• The goal that if you achieved it, it would have a huge positive impact on everything else?
• What’s that thing you’re thinking of right now as you read this?
That’s the goal you need to pursue with a passion over these next 12 weeks.

Be focused, diligent and consistent.

My one goal is loosing 2 stones (28lbs). Achieving this will have a positive impact on every other area of my life because I will be exercising, intentional about what goes into my mouth, intentional about the amount of water I’m drinking and the amount of sleep I’m getting.

Achieving this goal will impact on my;
• Business – the focus will have a positive effect on my business activities. I get some of my best ideas mid exercise.
• Family – I’ll have more energy and desire to be out in nature with the girls, bike riding, going out for walks and going to the park. Marriage also benefits from extra energy and increased body confidence (enough said 😉)
• Style – as my body shape changes I get try new styles, explore and get even more creative.
• Socially – I’ll want to get out more.

Stop basing where you’re going on where you’ve been

This is the theme I keep hearing. It’s getting louder so I’m paying attention.

Whether we’re treading new ground or familiar territory; just because it didn’t go to plan in the past does not mean it will be the same in the future.

If we repeat the same pattern we’ll get the same results.

If we create a new pattern but with the same, old mindset, we are still in danger of getting the same results.

THIS TIME AROUND… I commit to a new pattern, for a new day and with a renewed mindset based on what IS not based on what was. How about you?

What you FOCUS ON GETS BIGGER!!

Therefore, if you’re constantly comparing what you have and what you can do, with others.
Everything about them gets bigger and bigger cause you’re FOCUSED ON THEM.

But… if you focus on what you HAVE and what you CAN DO and improving yourself…
Everything about you will get bigger and better.

Where’s your Focus today?
What do you have in your hand?
Looks like a shovel, looks like a gift, looks like a skill. Don’t call it nothing.

A boy in the Bible had 5 loaves and 3 fish and it fed 5,000 men plus women and children.

God can take the little you “think” you have, bless it and multiply it. Stop calling it “nothing” and start to put some energy and work into yourself.
The world needs what you have inside of you.

Mentoring Jessica Jackson – from dead end job to dream job, from no self-esteem to smashing monthly goals and all in one year

Jessica is an amazing young Woman with so much potential. Just checked my journal and can’t believe it’s only been one year since we first met. Here’s a glimpse of our journey so far:

1) How’s did you get to be Mentored by Camelle? Why her?

It had been on my mind for a few months and at my church anniversary service I asked Camelle. I was so nervous I actually thought she was gonna say no but she said yes.

I only wanted Camelle, as I have always looked up to her. She is a mighty Woman of God, her integrity compassion, her strength, confidence, work drive, just to name a few are qualities that I wanted to see in myself

2) Where were you at in your life when you first started working with her?

I was a mess I was in such a low place. My self-esteem, what self esteem? I didn’t believe in myself at all. At this point my faith in God was non-existent and I was stuck in a dead end job.

3) What was the first meeting like?

The first meeting was just like having a catch up with a big sister. I felt free to talk about any and everything, which we did. I had the opportunity to follow Camelle on a day out, we went to the Royal Society of Art House (where she had been made a Member). I was so overwhelmed by the building, new position and opportunities Camelle was presented with. Sharing that moment with her was amazing!

We talked about setting goals, reading books that would motivate me and help me interact better with people e.g, How to win and influence people.

4) What did you start doing differently after meeting with Camelle?

I started setting goals for the month, doing affirmations in the morning. Staying focused and reaching my goals. I started reading more books for example How to win friends and influence people and Emotional Intelligence.

5) How has your life changed?

In the short space of them I step out of my comfort zone. I got my first legal job and got promoted in 3 months using my affirmations and speaking things into existence (Romans 4:17). Just under 3 months after that I got another job in a law firm. I got the car of my dreams, I had put a photo of the car I wanted on my wall and got the same model and make I wanted. Through Camelle’s encouragement I’ve been able to share my story with others to encourage them.

I can 100% say I am not the same Jessica from last year. Thanks to God for Camelle’s help.
